Mario, having taken the Golden PLunger from the Sacred Sink of Cramalot.

The Sacred Sink of Cramalot is a large, golden sink seen in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "King Mario of Cramalot / Day of the Orphan".

The Sacred Sink of Cramalot resides in the town square of Cramalot, where it has the Golden Plunger wedged in it. Legend has it that whoever removes the Golden Plunger from the Sacred Sink of Cramalot would gain untold power and become the new king of Cramalot.

Mario, needing the Golden Plunger to defeat the tyrannical King Koopa, managed to, after a lot of effort, remove the Golden Plunger from the Sacred Sink of Cramalot; after having the Golden Plunger removed from it, the Sacred Sink of Cramalot proceed to spurt a large amount of water into the air, showering it down upon Mario.
