“Why so serious?”
The Dark Knight

The Joker is one of Batman's enemies, appearing as the main villain and final boss in both Batman Land 3 and Batman 64. Joker is a normal-sized clown with white skin, an average nose, and attached hands.

History

Batman Land 3

When Batman was trapped in the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane in Batman Land 3, The Joker appeared as a giant shadowy face on a screen, pleading Batman's help. Mr. J states that he is the god of the asylum, and Poison Ivy sealed away his ingredients to his poison in five cells. The Joker requests Batman to break his seal by bringing all five ingredients to him. Batman is unwilling to help at first, until The Joker mentions that he will send Batman home when he is freed and will let Batman keep any treasure he finds along the way, not knowing that Batman is a billionaire. Persuaded, Batman sets out to collect the ingredients.

After a while, Batman collects all the ingredients, and frees The Joker. The Joker then turns into his true form, an evil clown, and reveals that he was using Batman to break out of Arkham, where he was trapped by the cops. He also revealed that he turned all the guards into the insane clowns that Batman had been beating up during his quest. Now that he is free, The Joker says that he will take over the Asylum and Gotham City. Not wanting that to happen, Batman fights The Joker.

The Joker attacks Batman with his poison, attempting to gas Batman. The Joker is very powerful, and if he successfully gasses Batman, the player instantly gets a Game Over. However, Batman avoided The Joker's poison and attacked him, leaving him stunned on the floor. Batman then grabbed the poison, and threw it at the Joker's face. After four hits, The Joker was dead and the guards of Arkham Asylum were returned to normal. They then sent Batman back to Gotham City, letting him keep all the treasure he had found.

Batman 64

The Joker returns as the main antagonist in Batman 64. The Joker sends his minion The Riddler to steal some equipment from Batman, planning to use them to kill Batman and take over the world. Riddler steals the equipment, but is followed by Batman and Robin, the latter of whom wanted the equipment for himself. The duo eventually came to Joker's castle and defeated Joker, taking back the equipment and curing his schizophrenia as well.
