He asks, knows the player about the "duelist greeting" or not. The correct answer is "Chaaaaarge!". Then the quest Duel Tower, 1F (later 2F, 3F) starts.<br>

Once he is beaten, he says what only the player can stop [[Bowser]] from conquering the world and lets him keep the mini-games.
