Miiverse is the Wii U's social network, integrated into software like WaraWara Plaza (bustling plaza) to bring people together, communicate and comment on certain games and software. The network is built similarly to Twitter, as you can like, dislike, flag, and befriend other people and their comments. Miiverse is also set to become an application for the Nintendo 3DS, smartphones, PCs and tablets later on in the year, allowing the player to answer questions and receive tips even when on the go.

New Super Mario Bros. U is the first main Mario title to incorporate Miiverse. Miiverse in New Super Mario Bros.
