Template:Infobox Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is a sports game that places Mario, Sonic, and their various allies against each other in Olympic events. The game has the official Beijing 2008 Olympics license and will feature environments based on actual Olympic venues.

The game will be available for both the Wii and Nintendo DS. It's scheduled for release on November 20th, 2007, with an Australian release just three days after.

At the end of the trailer on the official site, the Wi-Fi symbol was seen, proving that Wi-Fi Connection will be included in the game.

Confirmed Characters

Besides just Mario and Sonic, there will be a cast of over twenty characters in the game. Currently, eight others have been confirmed.

Speculated Characters

  • Espio: Espio the chameleon from the sonic series can be seen in the intro movie on the archery court.
  • Waluigi: A purple flag was seen being held by the audience. The symbol was hard to make out, but looked like it had some of Waluigi's facial features. Another purple flag, adorned with what appears to be Waluigi's symbol, can also be seen in recent screenshots.
