This page is an appeal system for reminders, warnings, and last warnings. If you feel you have wrongly received a reminder or a warning, follow the instructions below to appeal the reminder/warning to the administrators. Please keep discussions civil.

Notes

If you feel that you have been wrongfully given a reminder and/or warning, you can have your case heard here. Please read through the "How-to" and the "Rules" carefully. Please note that both the users appealing the reminder/warning and the users who issued the reminder/warning are given a chance to present the administrators with reasons to rule in their favor. However, said comments can only be edited once; this will not expand into lengthy, back-and-forth arguments such as the ones found in proposal comments and talk page discussions.

Rules

1. Reminders and/or Warnings given by an administrator cannot be appealed.
2. No case can be heard more than once. Once a decision is made, that decision is final.
3. If the reminder or warning you issued is overturned, do not re-add it, or it will be removed immediately, and you may be reprimanded yourself if the administrators feel it is necessary.

How-to

This is an example of what your appeal should look like; improperly formatted appeals will be deleted. If you are inexperienced or unsure how to set up this format, simply copy the following template and paste it into the fitting section. Then replace the "[subject]" variables (including the squared brackets) with information to customize your proposal.

Important: After posting your appeal, make sure that you use {{AppealNotice}} to inform the issuer that his or her warning/reminder is under dispute.

• The Warning I am appealing can be found in the middle of the linked section of my talk page. I am not appealing the reminder at the top.Wildgoosespeeder (Talk) gave the warning because I was forgetting to categorize images. At first I thought I deserved it because it was getting annoying for him, but then I realized that reminders say, and I quote, If the action continues deliberately, then a warning will be issued. I was not deliberately forgetting to categorize those images. It was all accidental. If I'm not doing it on purpose, should a warning be issued?

• This whole situation is awkward. I like to think of the warning as trying to enforce the rules more so than punishing the user. This is the best way I could do that without having sysop powers. I used it after talking with him several times (in between {{imagecategory-reminder}} and {{warning}}) and he still failed to follow policy. Initially, I tried to give some leeway before issuing {{warning}} because he was responding and being polite about it.

• [I normally wouldn't remove comments from my page, particularly after being reminded. However, I didn't want people to see that I had issues with "vandalizing" a page, so I really wanted to eliminate that part. I felt like there was enough justification to delete that comment.]

• He removed Alex95 (talk)'s informal message to him he has a history of removing comments and even an official reminder before this one, this is the third time this has happened and I reminded him about this once before comments aren't allowed to be removed either way and I couldn't have made myself more clear so the reminder should stay.
