Hoodin is a resident of Flipside in Super Paper Mario. He is the owner of Catch a Dream, a Catch Card shop. He is a very calm character, as Tippi comments: "he never gets mad at the boys who come by his shop, no matter how pushy and grabby they get."
Hoodin also has a Flopside-counterpart named Boodin, who runs the Fondest Hopes shop.
