Gobblins are large, yellow, smiley face balls that appear in Yoshi's Island DS. They're not really enemies, since Yoshi wouldn't be hurt if he touched one. To defeat a Gobblin, the player must throw eggs at them, which causes them to eat the Yoshi eggs. The player must continue doing this until they look sick and then one more egg will finish it off. They are always seen blocking warp pipes. They appear in the subterranean enemies exhibit. Touching them bounces Yoshi up or back, and sometimes that is helpful.
