Drill Spinning is a technique used by Mario and Luigi in New Super Mario Bros. This skill is preformed when one of the Bros. finds and jumps off a Spin Block. While he is in the air, the player should press Down on the D-Pad. This will cause the Bro. to move in a downward, drill-like spin. This allows Mario or Luigi to break multiple Brick Blocks in a row.
