"Do the Mario" is the ending theme to The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (and, for that matter, the animated series The Legend of Zelda), in which Mario (portrayed by Lou Albano) performs the Mario dance and sings a song to the tune of the Ground Theme from Super Mario Bros., explaining how to do the aforementioned dance and stumbling at the end. This plays during the credits to every episode. The phrase "Do the Mario!" was also said by the Mario Bros. and sometimes the celebrity guest star at the end of most live-action segments with the Mario Bros. signing off every episode with "Until next time, do the Mario!" or a variation thereof.
