The hideous Catbat.
Catbat is the fifth boss in the Game Boy Advance video game Wario Land 4. Catbat is also the guardian of the Sapphire Passage. A strange-looking creature, Catbat resembles a large purple cat with a bat sticking out of its head. Since this monster has the features of a bat, Catbat can fly in the air.
Strangely, Catbat's lair has a pool of water in the floor. In order to defeat Catbat, Wario must ride on the waves Catbat creates when the strange creature crashes into the pool. When on the wave, Wario must jump off and stomp Catbat's head. After enough hits, Catbat is defeated.
