A carrot
Carrot is an item that appears in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It transforms Mario into Rabbit Mario.
Carrots will later appear in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 as items. However these carrots will have bunny ears on the top.
Although not seen much, Carrots appear in the Super Mario 2 remake, as platforms. They only appeared in 2 levels though.
