Goal Star

Bonus Stars are special stars found in the game Super Mario World. They are earned by touching the tape moving up and down the goal post. (More Bonus Stars are given depending on the height of the goal tape when Mario breaks it; up to 40 can be collected at once.) These Bonus Stars are saved from level to level, and earning 100 of them will let Mario or Luigi go to a bonus mini-game where they can earn 1-Up Mushrooms.
