Bowser Memory ML
Bowser's Memories are encountered in Bowser's brain in Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!!. When the plumber brothers and Yellow Star get to the brain, a strange creature scans the bros and creates badly made memory versions of Mario and Luigi. They seem to have the personality of the Bros planted in them, as if they attack Bowser's Memory L a few times, he'll hide offscreen.
One of Bowser's Memory M's attacks is consuming a memory Super Mushroom and then jumping to hit blocks above him, a reference to the classic breakable brick blocks. Once broken, debris from the blocks will fall on the Bros, who must counter by using their hammers. If the block is red, the debris will fall on Mario. If the block is green, the debris will fall on Luigi. After all three blocks are broken, a memory of a Koopa will then touch Bowser's Memory M, causing him to shrink.
Another attack causes a memory of a Starman to appear while Bowser's Memory M or Bowser's Memory L absorbs the Starman and try to ram the Bros. A single coin will show how the invincible Memory Bro will attack. If the coin is on the ground, he'll do a ram. If the coin is in the air, he'll jump over the player.
Bowser's Memory L has his own special attack where he will be chased by a memory Boo. Bowser's Memory L will run in circles around Mario and Luigi while the memory Boo chases, and will only stop once a bro stomps the memory Boo.
Bowser's Memory L also has an attack where he grabs a hammer and then trips, sending it flying in an arc similar to the hammers thrown by Hammer Mario. The bros must use their own hammers to deflect the attack. Sometimes, if memory-Mario gets hurt, memory-Luigi will throw a memory-mushroom healing 40 HP.
Once one of the two memory bros was defeated, their brother would pick up a memory 1-up Mushroom to revive them and bring them back into the battle. Bowser's Memories were still no match for the real Mario and Luigi.
The shadow form of Bowser's Memories is also included in Boss-Challenge House. Mario and Luigi have to defeat their counterparts in less than 22 turns.
Trivia
- If one of the Memory Bros. got defeated, the one still standing would panic about it like when Mario or Luigi falls in a battle.
- The memories are similar to Mario and Luigi in earlier games, only the memories are slightly 3D like.
