- New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (pictured) and WarioWare: Smooth Moves were released on the Wii U eShop as digital downloads in Japan on June 21, 2017.
- The New Nintendo 2DS XL was released in Australia on June 15, 2017.
- At E3, a new Yoshi game for the Nintendo Switch was announced and releasing in 2018, Super Mario Odyssey will be released on October 27, 2017, and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle on August 29, 2017. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions was also announced, and is set to be released on October 6, 2017.
- On June 8, 2017, Nintendo and Universal Theme Parks announced that Super Nintendo World has commenced construction during the Groundbreaking Ceremony held at Universal Studios Japan. They also revealed that a Mario Kart-themed ride will be one of the attractions.
