The Electrified status as seen in Paper Mario.

Electrified is a positive status condition encountered in the Paper Mario series. It is indicated by small lightning bolts emanating out of Mario. Any enemies that touch him physically will take one HP of damage. If an enemy would use a combination of attacks on Mario in the same turn, their combo would end upon coming into contact with him. Also enemies that drain health (like Fuzzys) are unable to hurt Mario as the electricity shakes them off before they can damage him. Mario usually receives this status effect by eating a Volt Shroom, though there is a Badge called Zap Tap in both Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door than can equip this status effect permanently.
