Pickax Cave Plummet is the fourth course of Episode 3 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name. This course requires 80 Super Gems to unlock.

Layout[edit]

Captain Toad starts at the top of the course. He can either go to the body of water in one corner and get the first Super Gem with the Super Pickax or enter the cave next to it that has a Pluck Patch near it. Captain Toad should descend down the cave in order to continue. From there, he can use the Pickax to defeat enemies and destroy the Rock Blocks in the cave. Should he lose the Pickax, he can receive another Pickax in a Pluck Patch or by defeating a Piranha Sprout. At the bottom of the cave is where the Power Star awaits on top of a pile of noncollectable Coins.

Super Gems[edit]

  • Super Gem 1: In a hole underwater at the top of the level. A Super Pickax is required to break the Rock Block blocking the hole.
