Cliffhangers is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party 4. Its name comes from a term referring to story endings with suspenseful situations without properly resolving them.

Introduction[edit]

The two teams are shown starting to climb up a snowy mountain, with the screen split to show each team.

When the wind picks up, the player's controller rumbles (or a "!!" appears if the Rumble Feature is turned off). Players must hold on to the cliff face when the wind blows. If not, then they get blown farther down the cliff. The first team to reach the top wins.

Ending[edit]
