Problem is, by definition, if a kingdom is built, the people aren't nomads, making this not only a one-time rename, but a ''misleading'' one. I'm a bit indifferent about this. Looking at the Nomandimouse character articles, I get the feeling this might be the name given to Little Mousers for this game, like how in TTYD they are called "Squeeks" and are not split from the Little Mouser article. Wearing a certain type of clothing does not make them "completely different", physical design is way more important than that.
