Para-bombs are Bob-ombs with parachutes. They dive from the sky and crash into their foes from the skies. They appear in Super Mario World, Super Princess Peach, New Super Mario Bros. and Hotel Mario (here known as Para Bob-ombs). In New Super Mario Bros., there's a mini-game where Para-ombs must be blown-up before they hit a guarded flower. In Super Princess Peach there is a sub-species of Para-bomb named Glad Parabomb.
In Hotel Mario, they had wings and could crash into enemies from above. They are similar to the Para-bomb, except for the fact that they could follow Mario and Luigi while falling. If they hit a door, the door would close, making Mario and Luigi's task harder.
