History
Mario Kart 7
The Lucky 7 first debuted in Mario Kart 7. It is one of the items found in the Item Boxes. When used, seven items will appear surrounding the racer's kart by rotating similar to the Triple Green or Red Shells. The racer can then use them one by one when the item is in front of the player[1]. The items that the racer gets are the following: a Green Shell, a Red Shell, a Banana, a Mushroom, a Star, a Blooper, and a Bob-omb.
Like Triple Green or Red Shells, opposing racers that get too close will be hit by the circling items. As one would expect, a Banana or Shell will simply hit the opponent, while Mushrooms or Stars will give the opponent their boost, and a Bob-omb will explode and assuredly take out any items that had yet to be used.
