They are pudgy ape-like creatures with white fur and runny noses. Yetis normally move back and forth, but when [[Wario]] comes near, they stop and sneeze an icy breath at him that moves horizontally. When hit, Wario becomes [[Frozen Wario]]. Yetis can be defeated by any of Wario's attacks and can be grabbed and thrown as well when they are stunned; however, Wario moves slower while carrying a Yeti. For defeating a Yeti, Wario is rewarded with a [[Coin (Wario Land 4)|Bronze Coin]]. Unlike other enemies that cause a special status, a defeated Yeti does not respawn when Wario re-enters a room.

In the level [[Fiery Cavern]], it is shown that they are related to [[Bowler]]s, since the latter creatures will become Yetis when Wario jumps on the [[Switch (Wario Land 4)|switch]] and the temperature radically changes.
