Hey, I see you've been replacing some Japanese names based on internal English filenames lately. That's very much appreciated, so keep up the good work! If it's not asking too much, is it possible for you to look into the filename of Morty Mole in Super Mario 3D Land? I'm curious at all if it specifically references Mega Mole from Super Mario World, or if it could be something more generic like Big Monty Mole. If Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis is all you have access to, then please don't sweat it. Thanks! :That's actually been very useful, just as I suspected. Thanks again! (P.S. If you can find Kānī Roller and Kongā, that should remove the remaining foreign template reliance for the MVDK2 articles). ::Great work, this really is just what we needed to sort out the foreign, conjectural and unsourced article titles. Just one thing: in addition to the template, when you move an article to the proper name, make sure you also check the what links here tool and adjust the remaining redirects for main articles and other files (talk pages, editorials and personal stuff are fine to be left as-is). Additionally, when you move the article, also be sure to tag the older talk page for deletion if it's just an empty redirect. I've done the ones you've already moved for you, but other users may not be so patient. As long as you follow through with that, you're good to go to contribute on your own! On that note, I hope you don't mind, but I actually thought of a few more questions...
::1) Since you brought up you were finding things in Luigi's Mansion 2, I figured I'd ask, what does the game internally refer to the Big Boo boss? I ask because in the Japanese version, it's called Jumbo Telesa, which is shared with Boolossus from the first game.
::2) In the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, both Nitpicker and Snapjaw went under different names in (Japanese) guides, as did the latter in Yoshi's Island DS, and the former was given a more toy-like appearance later on. What have they been referred to in the game files?
::3) Since you've dug in the GBA ROM for Brickman, I presume you've started to look and see if you can to find the others (Tane Pakkun, Kurasshā, Kōmori, and the Katakata enemies). Is there a sign that the fiery Nitpicker/Bird and the red Monchee variants are considered separate? If so, that would be further grounds for splitting.
::By the way, on Katakata Hakkun, I agree with what's stated there - the Mario vs. Donkey Kong enemies have separate identifiers, so "Ninji (toy)" would be the consistent move. There could be a discussion afterwards if they should remain separate, but given it would implicitly involve the other toy counterparts, I don't see it happening anytime soon. :::Yeah, it's usually considered the responsibility of the one who had it moved to manually make sure the article links and such are updated. Sometimes people forget, though, but other times someone will up and decide to remind you over it (I think I've had to happen to me within the same hour), so it doesn't hurt to do it anyway. My thoughts…
