Wii U Cool Thing

I noticed you uploaded a screenshot of a YouTube video (File:SM3DWColorPanels.png) for Super Mario 3D World. Did you know you can play any Wii U game live and submit a screenshot using the Wii U's built-in web browser functionality and the image will be 1280x720 right here to MarioWiki? I was hoping to turn it into official policy instead of just a help page. From others' feedback, the first draft was a tad too strict and it would end up not being very acceptable as a policy. Right now, it is somewhat more lenient but it still needs more work and other details need to be worked out. The guide started with a talk on Henry Tucayo Clay (talk)'s talk page. With other admins, he said that it would be a good idea to implement officially. One other snag is that a few users have had issues with my and others' {{image-quality}} usage. It got me to think that the template by itself is insufficient for the size of this wiki and it needed expansion. I proposed new template ideas but that failed miserably due to confusion so I canceled the proposal. The proposal was so underdeveloped that I requested discussion how to make things clearer so the proposal has a higher rate of passing. You can see the details here. It seems like my expertise was game screenshots only. That's what made my proposal so underdeveloped. I didn't consider other types of image submissions. It baffled me that people thought it was OK to submit sub-par screenshots and not tag them if they couldn't do any better. Also, people had access to so many better ways to take screenshots than to take a screenshot of a YouTube video that I don't think they realized it. Since November of 2015, I have been redoing a load of bad screenshots for various games. It got the attention of Bazooka Mario (talk), Baby Luigi (talk), and Henry Tucayo Clay (talk). They praised me for my efforts (still on my talk page). I kind of wanted to share my knowledge after that if those users think I am doing quality work. RAP (talk) has been the most helpful in Target Audience. He brought up a good point about taking shortcuts instead of replaying a game to obtain a particular screenshot later in the game. Ignore the Perl comments because that doesn't work (or at least I couldn't get it to work). Read the comments related to the Python Wiki Bot (Pywikibot). Follow the step-by-step instructions from the link Porplemontage (talk) gave how to set that up. The green box width is a combination of personal preference, the automatic nature of web page table rendering if a setting doesn't strictly define it, and reserving space related to past talks. It bothered me that there was a lot of white space going unused caused by the Table of Contents that MediaWiki causes. I know I can hide it, but I find it useful. That was considered. For the time being, we shall leave the code on the page. It's not as long as the one seen on MarioWiki:Proposals. Also, the instructions on the noticeboard says to edit the header. If users do this, they they won't see the coding at the top at all. And anyway, the page would be very closely watched. If someone edited the code, we'd definitely notice. If there is a major problem down the track, then we may consider making it a subpage. But for now in the Noticeboard's early stages, we'll keep it as-is. Get my drift? Lol
