:Nor do we. It's speculation based on them having the same design, which among Punis especially, is not a particularly smart assumption. It's the generic Puni design, just with the same clothes on. "Mover" doesn't seem to even be a singular character, if in-game dialog is anything to go by. However, given the translation's track record (Chestnut King, Sky Blue Pipe, Mushville, Goomstar Temple...), I question if they were said to be the same in the Japanese version. :::Pungry is a unique NPC, like most dedicated Punies. You see one Punie with a unique design like [[Punio]], and it's them--no two Punies share designs, sans the common Punies. It's safe to assume these two are, indeed, the same. In response to the idea that the Japanese version might say anything about Pungry and Mover being one and the same (or otherwise): I was playing through the Pit of 100 Trials in Japanese today and saw no such implication in either the Mover's dialogue or Tattle. Bear in mind that my Japanese is only student level, and that I was kind of rushing through the text, but it was basically the same as the English version. The only specific line I can remember the exact wordage of is 「オレはいどう屋だ」("I'm a mover"). Goombella's Tattle is also more or less the same and made no mention of Pungry or the Punis. I will say this though, subjects of sentences are often dropped in Japanese and plurals aren't usually specified, so what the English translation chose to translate as "they" (creating the implication that there is more than one Mover, and we might not necessarily always be talking to the same one) in the Tattle just as easily could have been translated as "he". (I don't remember the exact wording of the Tattle in Japanese, but I ''do'' remember that it said nothing to clarify that there's more than one Mover, specifically - which would be いどう屋たち in Japanese.) If I attempt the Pit of 100 Trials in Japanese again, maybe I will take pictures of all the dialogue so that someone with better Japanese proficiency than me can vet it for relevant information - but I'm fairly confident to close the case and say there's nothing to suggest they're the same character in Japanese either. {{User:YellowYoshi398/sig}}
