Page 76.</ref> is a type of [[Strollin' Stu]] that appears in ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]''. It is distinct from a Strollin' Stu due to its ability to be covered in flames yet be apparently unharmed. [[Mario]] catches fire if he touches the flaming enemy. If the flames are removed, its bright red skin becomes a dark charred brown. Smolderin' Stus are very rare, appearing only at [[Pinna Park]] in the mission [[Mecha-Bowser Appears!]] and [[Sirena Beach]] in the mission [[King Boo Down Below]].

Smolderin' Stus can easily be defeated by a well-aimed squirt of water from [[F.L.U.D.D.|FLUDD]]. Both Smolderin' Stus and the common Strollin' Stus appear in the [[King Boo (Super Mario Sunshine)|King Boo]] boss fight.
