Though the mushrooms aren't used as items in the Yoshi games, the mushrooms appear in the background of [[Yoshi's Story]] where they set in the Neuron Jungle. Yoshi's Woolly World has all sizes of mushrooms made of yarn in all colors, including the largest used as platforms in the foreground and the background. The mushrooms also appear in Yoshi's Crafted World where there is a red mushroom in the tree-climbing part of Pastel Pathway.
