Enemies found in here are basic enemies like [[Koopa Troopa|Koopa]]s, [[Monty Mole]]s, [[Spiny|Spinies]], and [[Buzzy Beetle]]s. Randomly, one of the extra Koopas will look a little different and drop a [[candle|light]] if defeated, which brightens up the rest of the hotel if collected. The boss stage is known as [[Larry's Scary Lair]]. Once this hotel is beaten, its interior explodes, [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] barely manage to escape this explosion and [[Princess Peach|Princess Toadstool]] has the even less fortunate fate of being carried away to [[Lemmy's High-ate Regency Hotel]], where the Mario Brothers travel next.
