Defeat the giant spear man is the second story of an additional chapter three in the game Wario Land II. It takes place inside the ruined remains of an ancient civilization deep at the bottom of the sea.
The level is composed of many similar looking paths that lead down and deeper into the ruins. The player will meet numerous diversions and crossroads and has to take the right path to find the giant spear man. If the player takes the wrong turn, Wario will end up at the beginning of the stage. The player should try to navigate by thoughtfully breaking the blocks along the path. The blocks remain broken after the player returns to the start, so they can aid him to not get lost. Wario must take the right path twice, go down the next path and avoid becoming Bouncy Wario, then enter the first door he sees. The level ends when the player locates the giant spear man and defeats him.

Treasure[edit]
The hidden treasure of this level is located in a flooded area with numerous Drills. In order to get there, Wario should head right from the start and crash the blocks on the ground until he reaches a diversion with two Grunts. He should take the left path and head down straight until he meets another diversion with two Grunts. Here he should take the right path and head down straight again. Wario will end up in a flooded area. A door there is guarded by a Drill. That is the treasure door which can be entered by sneaking past the Drill.
