He is fought in the battle [[King of Darkmess]]. His creation was enabled from when the [[Megabug]] possessed Bowser to become [[MegaDragonBowser]] during the events of ''[[Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle]]''.

==Battle==
During the battle, Bowser is a pre-set party member while the player chooses the other three. Darkmess Bowser attacks exactly like the real Bowser, using a Bowzooka as his primary attack and summoning three [[Darkmess Rabbid Mechakoopa]]s as his technique, which pursue the heroes and explode on contact. He is also resistant to the [[Burn]] Super Effect. Darkmess Bowser is also assisted by several [[Magikoopa]]s and [[Goomba]]s. The location where Darkmess Bowser is fought resembles [[Bowser's Castle]], as it features banners with Bowser's symbol, along with a throne.
