As with the original battle, Big Massif X battles alongside Hooraw Xs, who aid him with his various attacks. Big Massif X also uses the same attacks as Big Massif, only being faster and stronger. He can call down a large, heavy object to punch at Mario, who has to counter with his hammer. If the Hooraws panic as it comes down, Big Massif X will back up before punching it. He will also charge at Mario and, depending on the actions of the Hooraws in the background, will either jump over Mario or charge right into him, the latter which Mario must jump to avoid.
