First of all, you're not supposed to "restore" any edits that were taken out by us on the staff; in most cases, it was done for a valid reason. Second, Nintendo themselves ''did'' state in an investor's meeting that they used the "Nintendo Network" procedures for ''Mario Kart 7''; I can't recall the source that stated this, but it did get revealed. For MK7's case, it doesn't really matter if that logo showed up on the game's packaging, just as long as Nintendo states the evidence in any form, it's counted as official.
