Truck: Difference between revisions

In ''[[Mario Kart 8]]'' and ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'', trucks appear on {{classic-link|N64|Toad's Turnpike}} and {{classic-link|DS|Shroom Ridge}}, where they drive along the road with the rest of the traffic. They are absent during [[Battle Mode]] in ''Mario Kart 8''. Like with cargo trucks, the player will spin out if they drive into them, having the same effect as driving over a [[Banana#Mario Kart series|Banana]]. Trucks cannot be completely removed, but they can be briefly launched into the air if driven into when using a [[Super Star]] or [[Bullet Bill]]. They may also honk their horns at the player if hit. Trucks drag a surfboard along, which the player can drive up and use as a [[ramp]], and they are able to perform a [[Jump Boost|trick]] off the top of it, like with a [[dash panel ramp truck]]. The vehicles themselves are purple-colored with [[List of sponsors debuting in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe#Super Marine World|Super Marine World]], [[List of sponsors debuting in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe#Waluigi Sea Bed|Waluigi Sea Bed]], and {{classic-link|DS|Cheep Cheep Beach}} stickers on them, while the surfboards are yellow with a red flame pattern at the top and a [[List of sponsors debuting in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe#Red Shell Strike Equipment|Red Shell Strike Equipment]] sticker on them.
