It is found in a side quest named [[The Quest for Courage]], in which it asks [[Alkementor]] to create a potion to make itself more brave, but [[Darkmess]] takes over Alkementor's cauldron, and thus must be stopped, in a battle known as [[Darkmess in the Cauldron]]. Alkementor then tasks the heroes to create the courage potion. After the potion is created, Toxicomet dives into it and becomes brave, then joins the heroes on their adventure.
