This theme is usually hidden and serves as an [[Easter egg]], only able to be heard after meeting certain conditions. It was first included in ''{{wp|X (1992 video game)|X}}'' for the [[Game Boy]] in 1992, and its first appearance in a ''[[Super Mario (franchise)|Super Mario]]''-related title was in ''[[Mario Paint]]'', also in 1992.
