'''Suction''' is a unique ability used by [[Birdo]] in the two games, ''[[Mario Superstar Baseball]]'' and ''[[Mario Super Sluggers]]''. Suction allows Birdo to grab balls from distances away from her, much like [[Yoshi]]'s [[Tongue Catch]]. Whenever Birdo uses this ability to catch fly balls, she gets a Big Play. However, in ''Mario Super Sluggers'', Birdo has no mission specifically centered around her Suction, unlike Yoshi's Tongue Catch.
