 This tour introduces [[DS Peach Gardens|Peach Gardens]] from ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'' as a [[classic course]], coinciding with the course's inclusion in Wave 3 of the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]] DLC for ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' (making this the first tour to introduce a DS race course since the [[Pirate Tour]] sixty tours prior introducing [[DS Airship Fortress]]). It also introduces a new route for the [[Amsterdam Drift]] course (named Amsterdam Drift 3), making Amsterdam Drift the first [[New course|city course]] to have its three layouts introduced in the same year.
