'''Lunar Colony''' is a battle course that appears as one of the new maps in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]''. As its name implies, it takes place in space on the [[Moon]], and resembles [[Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 8)|Rainbow Road]] in terms of futuristic design and crowds. Similar to [[Mute City]], [[Big Blue]], {{classic-link|GCN|Baby Park}}, and [[Sky-High Sundae]], the entire course takes place in anti-gravity. The course is divided into two parts: the moon and the colony, with the moon taking up a majority of the course. On the moon, gravity is low, and players can trick off the craters and fly far, similar to the moon section of {{classic-link|3DS|Rainbow Road}}. On the colony section players can bump into [[Spin Boost Pillar]]s to get a boost.
