Move to "Wonder Hoppin"?
I feel "expert" in this case is used as a descriptor, as evidenced by the Japanese guide for the game referring to it as "Wonder Hoppycat" (ワンダーホッピン) instead of "jumping expert". It'd be like keeping Rocto as "octopus" or "mean-looking alien" because those names are stated in-game while the other name is sourced from a website.
