Later, in the episode "Orangutango", on the day of Kongo Bongo Island's annual Orangutango dancing contest, Inka Dinka Doo later called DK to the temple in "Orangutango", saying he would need to pass a few tests to save the island. These tests involved sending DK through three passageways while avoiding spikes, pits, and flying arrows, respectively. DK managed to pass these tests, after which Inka told him to go save the island. DK didn't understand, but shortly afterward, Funky Kong, who was supposed to dance against K. Rool in the contest, hurt his ankle and couldn't dance. DK filled in for Funky, and then realized that Inka had in fact been giving him dancing lessons, for Inka had foreseen that Funky would injure himself. (Ironically, DK did not win the contest, but K. Rool ended up blowing his chance for the prize, a wish on the Crystal Coconut, by wishing General Klump would stop doing an annoying dance.)

In the episode "The Legend of the Crystal Coconut", Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong went to Inka Dinka Doo's Temple to ask him about the secrets of the Crystal Coconut. He gives them the ominous message, "To learn, you must give up everything." Donkey Kong interprets this wrong, and ends up giving the Crystal Coconut to King. K. Rool in order to learn about it. Later in the episode, Diddy and Cranky get the Coconut back, and Diddy takes it to Inka Dinka Doo's Temple to hide it. When Skurvy, Green Kroc, and Kutlass corner the Kongs in the temple, Diddy runs away with the Coconut, drawing away Kutlass and Green Croc. At the end of the episode, Donkey Kong tells Inka Dinka Doo, "I will be back, you can count on it," The statue simply responds "Whatever."

Inka seems to have a bit of an unknown personality as well, because in the episode "Watch the Skies" he shows amusement towards Donkey Kong saying he should tell them his secret origins, turning to his smiling face and saying Donkey Kong would share his secret with everyone.  He also seemed to be loosening up his previously strict privacy, as all the Kongs held Diddy's surprise birthday party in his temple, and he said, "Happy Inka Dinka Birthday!"
