In this episode [[Mr. President]] was giving Gorbachev a tour of [[Brooklyn]] where after [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] save them from the floods of which Mario receives [[The Golden Plunger]] and Luigi receives [[The Golden Wrench]]. He was actually only seen very briefly while riding in The (American) President's car waving to the citizens of Brooklyn. In the live-action segment following Plumber's Academy: [[Glasnuts]], Mr. President call Mario and Luigi to tell them that Gorbachev is coming.
