A Board is a square-shaped yellow platform that hovers above the ground found in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Boards always come in pairs, because when Mario jumps on one of the platforms, the other one revolves around it. When Mario jumps to the next Board, the platform he was previously standing one begins to revolve around the second Board (the one he is currently standing on). Thus, these platforms can be used to cross lava-filled rooms or to reach Treasure Boxes that are too high for Mario to reach with his jumping ability.

A block, also known as a tile or Board, is a yellow square-shaped panel that hovers above the ground and functions as a platform in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Blocks usually come in pairs. When Mario jumps onto one of the blocks, the other revolves around it. When Mario jumps to the next one, the platform he was previously standing on begins to revolve around the one he is currently standing on. Thus, these platforms can be used to cross lava-filled rooms or to reach treasure boxes that are too high for Mario to reach with his jumping ability. Not all blocks move at the same speed; some move quickly, while others move slowly. As such, Mario has to plan his jumps accordingly.

It should be noted that not all Boards move the same speed; some move fast while others move slow. As such, Mario has to plan his jumps accordingly.
Other blocks that do not move in this way occasionally appear, such as in Dr. Topper's room and in Rose Way.

Boards look similar to (and may be designed after) Turning Blocks, and the Bike Pads or Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga also look very similar to them.
Blocks first appear in the level Bandit's Way in the Mushroom Kingdom. Many individuals have traveled to Bandit's Way to see the blocks for themselves.
