not only is the intent behind it irrelevant considering it's the first time in almost 20 years the enemy has been officially acknowledged (and for all we know so far, its unique name was dropped)--but isn't this also basically just a mnemonic descriptor?
(There is such a thing as -too- generic, especially when we have nongeneric in use. Obviously, keeping it basic is just for the purposes of a quick overview, they don't want to school newcomers with potentially overwhelming or confusing info right away. Let's at least wait until the remake's out or more promotional material supports it, that won't be long now.)
