The player acquires one out of a roulette every time a course is cleared; the pictures depicted are [[Super Mushroom|Mushroom]]s, [[Fire Flower|Flower]]s, and [[Super Star|Star]]s. Once three cards are collected, the player is given a [[Extra life|1-Up]] prize: one if they do not match, two if Mushrooms, three if Flowers, and five if Stars.
