Boomerang Flower: Difference between revisions

The Boomerang Flower reappears in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'' as the [[Special Item (Mario Kart series)|special item]] of [[Baby Mario]], [[Baby Luigi]], [[Larry Koopa|Larry]], [[Toad|Toad (Pit Crew)]], [[Boomerang Bro]], [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi (Kangaroo)]], [[Luigi|Luigi (Vacation)]], [[Mario|Mario (Samurai)]], [[Rosalina|Rosalina (Volendam)]], [[Shy Guy|Shy Guy (Ninja)]], and the [[Mii|Bronze Mii Racing Suit]]. Its function has also changed significantly; instead of the player throwing the boomerang, the boomerang instead orbits the player's kart twice before flying away. The boomerang is also capable of collecting nearby coins and [[event token]]s automatically, as well as destroying hazardous items. Also unlike in ''Mario Kart 8'', the boomerang can only be thrown once. When Boomerang Flower+ is active, an extra boomerang is added, allowing the player to use two boomerangs instead of one. The [[Super Leaf]] functions similarly to the Boomerang Flower.
