Well, I guess that makes sense, since it seems to happen for Luigi as well. I'll add it back. 16:44, 6 October 2018 (EDT)

RE:Transparency policy
First, why do you bring this up? Second, if it's not in the policy itself, then it's still dictated by this proposal. 02:36, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
:Again, why exactly do you bring this up? 02:44, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
::Could you at least provide an example? Just so that I at least know what you're talking about? 02:47, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
Re: Super Mario Land (series)
My idea was turning it into a disambiguation page, much like the New Super Mario Bros. series currently has. I don't think we need pages for sub-series of sub-series, since most Super Mario titles fall into one of those (Bros., Land, New Super, Galaxy, 3D), but a disambiguation page could help clear up some of the confusion. Admittedly, the whole status of the Super Mario Land games is kinda confusing, but I feel that it'll be for the better once we escape this weird transitional period. --CompliensCreator (talk) 13:58, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
:Is there anything officially connecting those to the Donkey Kong Country games? If not, keep them on their own page for the time being. If there's a source that confirms them to be part of the Donkey Kong Country series, however, I say merge those titles into that. --CompliensCreator (talk) 14:07, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
re: First ban = 1 week?
I'll be honest here: the subject of ban length was brought up in the community discord and the topic naturally spilled over to TTA's ban. Agreeing with the notion that 2 weeks may be a little too lengthy as a first time ban for a well-meaning veteran contributor, I (too) quickly made the decision to lower it without really consulting anyone beside the one other sysop that was in the room at the time. When I came back this morning, other admins pointed out to me that MarioWiki:Blocking policy states 2 weeks for the exact scenario at hand and that you had been given the full two weeks ban for it.
So yeah, I messed up. I regret not doing the same when you were blocked, or take yours into the account before making my decision. I realize apologies may not mean much because the whole situation really is quite unfair to you, and for that I am truly sorry. But over the coming weeks, I'll try to make the case to halve the sentence precognized by the blocking policy because I really do think two weeks instead of one is  a bit much for the first block of a veteran editor, wheter it's you, Toadette the Achiever, or anyone else. --Glowsquid (talk) 11:48, 16 October 2018 (EDT)
RE: Donkey Kong Land 2
I'm only going to do the "Items and objects" section on its page. Right now, I'm just doing GB sprites. I have 10/17 sprites for the page so far. Scrooge200 (talk) 23:20, 17 October 2018 (EDT)

Toad#Luigi's Mansion
So which one is Toad? The one in the foyer? 00:52, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
:The manual also says "Speak to Toad" under "How to Save", and the website refers to him (at least the one in the foyer) as such as well. 01:20, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
::I know, I'm talking about the "How to Save" heading on the same page. Though it could just be how they refer to any Toad so nvm I guess. 02:22, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
Stool pigeon userbox
Do i have the permission to use it? It's true that i'm removing vandalism from other I.P.s and reporting them. Can i use this userbox? Thanks! -- 13:40, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
:Also, i uploaed the YNI Dancing Spear Guys in both yellow and pink. You prefered it without an identifier just like Harry Hedgehog? Also, don't forget to change the red link from Beanie (Yoshi's New Island) to Mame-san in your project page. -- 14:02, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
re:your Jumpman entry on the Urban Legends page
The claim that "the name "Jumpman" in regards to this game was only ever used in the American cabinet operation manual intended solely for arcade owners and employees" is not quite true: "Jumpman" is also used multiple times in the marquee card that came with some iterations of the cabinet (it's taped to the side of the cocktail cabinet for instance) where it's more clearly a proper name. There's some merit to having an entry about how the "Mario was originally Jumpman!!" thing is a bit overstated so I'll let you edit the entry accordingly. --Glowsquid (talk) 10:22, 22 October 2018 (EDT)

RE:SMBE
It seems my hopes over the year-long delay were unfortunately unfounded, but I certainly didn't think it'd be deemed bad enough that we'd actually consider disowning it... That's a new one. LinkTheLefty (talk) 20:47, 23 October 2018 (EDT)
Re: "The enemy names [you] made up as a kid"
Hah, still better than the time I claimed a Mario enemy appeared in Sonic 3. <s>In my defense, I actually did think they were the same thing when I was 9.</s>
On that note, I think my favorite Mini-Niiue edit is probably this gem. Niiue (talk) 05:33, 25 October 2018 (EDT)

Species
There was a proposal to use the species category for non-hostile species only, to avoid overlap with the enemy categories. 12:20, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
:The point of the proposal was that for the purposes of categorization, species and enemies are distinct from each other. Otherwise a plethora of pages would be on the species category. 12:26, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
::There's a reason that :Category:Donkey Kong Species, :Category:Wario Species, and :Category:Yoshi Species are under the list of affected categories. The birds category is in no way relevant to that proposal. 12:35, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
:::None of the taxonomic categories are relevant to that proposal. They aren't even brought up within it. 12:38, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
::::I'm going to be honest: I do not understand the points you're bringing up, nor how they relate to this proposal. 12:43, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
:::::How? It's not valid information since enemies and species are distinct, and the point of the proposal was to exempt enemies from species categories. I should know, the proposal stems from a discussion between Niiue and I. 12:47, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
::::::There's a reason that the voting options only stated "species categories" and nothing more specific than that. The language of the proposal primarily discusses game-specific species because those were the most prevalent categories, but saying that every enemy necessarily needs to appear in the main species category on a technicality is unhelpful. And what do you mean by "wide range of meanings"? The meaning of the categories was exactly what was voted on. 12:57, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
To be frank, your arguments are leaving me confused with how many haphazard elements are being brought up without a natural cohesion between them (especially when bosses are subcategorized under characters which isn't even relevant to this discussion). The original proposal is what it is; if you want to argue against it, the best way to do that would be to lay out all of your arguments in a proposal. 13:06, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
:Unless you plan to add every single enemy to the top-level species category, you're taking a technicality to an extreme. 13:21, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
::They were outliers that were missed in the previous round of clean-up. They weren't specially exempted. 13:26, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
:::That's still not relevant to that proposal. 13:46, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
