If you have Challenge Mode enabled (L R L R X X Y Y on the map after completing the game) then go to World 6-1.  In the beginning of the level, you will notice that the mountain ceiling doesn't start for a few blocks. Inch forward until the amount of free space shown on screen is just a bit too small for Mario or Luigi to jump into. (Note: Getting the exact right amount of space is very tricky.  Don't be disappointed if it takes a few tries.) After that, go to the far left of the screen and wait for the [[Bill Blaster]] to shoot.  Jump on the [[Bullet Bill]] and enter the thin gap of space that you have created.  If it worked, you will be standing in mid-air in the gap.  Once you are there, the only thing you can do is jump again, and keep jumping until you have gone far off the top of the screen.  Once you have jumped enough, you will be able to move again, above the level.  You can then run to the end of the level, and you won't even fall back when there is open sky.  You can't run backwards due to the fact that challenge mode has to be on.  In the end, you have to wait for time to run out, since there is no way to get back.
