The player controls how fast their character's waterboats move. Yet, at turns, if players go too fast, they won't turn well, and ram into the outer edge of the track, slowing them down. On the other hand, if players are too slow at the turns, they will turn faster than they move, and end up either crashing into the inner wall of the track or be heading in the wrong direction. If the player goes the wrong way, the word "REVERSE" will replace the words on how many laps are remaining for them and go on and off until they turn around to go the right way. | |||
