The Donkey Kong Universe refers to anything in the Donkey Kong games. Places, items, characters or anything related to Donkey Kong is part of the Donkey Kong Universe. However, a lot of games made by Rare, Ltd. include references and/or tie-ins to other Donkey Kong Universe games. For instance, Diddy Kong Racing featured Banjo Bear and Conker the Squirrel, who later spun off into their own series; it is therefore possible that these series are to be considered part of the Donkey Kong Universe.
