Hello there!
Since you are the one who made pages for Big Zing and Flaming Tiki Zing, I'm going to ask you if these names are conjectural or you got them from somewhere official. I'm afraid I haven't spotted them in the Prima guide... (The "Big Zings" are called Tiki Zings like their smaller brethren, and the "Flaming Tiki Zings" are simply called "fireballs".) Thank you! Have a nice day! -- 09:06, 12 June 2017 (EDT)
:It's okay, excuse me for asking you so late. The "ref needed" tag is still up on those pages, so if anyone finds a good source for these names, they should cite it ASAP! Thank you again. --
Sprites
So I see that after your little hiatus, you're back to editing. That's all well and good, but when uploading sprites, always save as a .PNG. .JPG/.JPEG ruins the quality of sprites by blending their colors together horrifically.  Also, the background problems can be fixed with free programs like Paint.Net, if you're so interested. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 04:22, 22 December 2017 (EST)
re:fa
That's because the N nomination page currently serves as a redirect to an archive, which should have been deleted long ago. I'm requesting to delete the redirect page, and then move the FA nomination page to its proper name (MarioWiki:Featured articles/N/Mario Hoops 3-on-3) rather than the current one. 21:35, 23 December 2017 (EST)
:Right now, I am in the process of adding a reception section. I already got that covered. 21:41, 23 December 2017 (EST)
::For the image sprites, I probably suggest using emulation to get them. 21:44, 23 December 2017 (EST)
:::Hey, great work on the controls section! 22:45, 23 December 2017 (EST)
::::I'm not sure if I'll work on the gameplay section today, expanding and going into detail on it. For the sprites, that might be the hardest part to obtain, since I don't see any entire sprite rips for this game unfortunately. 22:48, 23 December 2017 (EST)
:::::Hey! Why don't you try getting the images from this? 22:54, 23 December 2017 (EST)
::::::The images are at a bloated resolution, that's the biggest problem I have with them. I will lend my hand to getting better quality image without image editing distortions, retaining the original resolution of them. Considering the manual came from an official digital .pdf, I don't think we can get them any bigger than that. 22:59, 23 December 2017 (EST)
It looks good! I'd merge character names under their picture but that's pretty much the only change i'll make 14:54, 24 December 2017 (EST)
:I'll take time to rewrite the gameplay section. Go into as much detail as I can. 15:39, 24 December 2017 (EST)
::Snap I forgot. We have to upload media files. A good place to get them is KH Insider (the official soundtrack CD version) and Smash Custom Music (the game version) 15:41, 24 December 2017 (EST)
Those red links regarding those mini courses in Dribble Race and Coin Hunter mode. They need to be filled out. Coin Hunter can be a bit tricky to do, because it requires multiplayer to get it. There might be videos on YouTube that showcase the course. I also think there should be a section regarding your profile in this article, as well as the settings (the bottom screen Toads HUD where they lead to). The article makes no mention of those features. 14:34, 27 December 2017 (EST)
:Great. I'm not sure if melonDS supports Mario Hoops 3-on-3, as I think that emulator is our best bet at emulating local play for screenshot capturing, despite it not being finished. Though for the Dribble Race stuff, they're single player so they're easier to grab screenshots from. 14:38, 27 December 2017 (EST)
Re: Hey
It's all right, really! No worries! 23:05, 23 December 2017 (EST)
I really want to get back to you and discuss the article properly, but I'm only going to have access to my phone for the next couple of days. Sorry! 20:00, 25 December 2017 (EST)
Two final complaints from me: the part of the intro talking about the game originally being an original IP should be further down in the article, and the non-playable characters section is too vague (at the very least distinguish between background elements, stage hazards, and "features"). 17:01, 28 December 2017 (EST)
:The ideal would be something like this; for backgrounds characters who literally have no interaction, a simple list works fine, but for anything else, the table below is a good example of what to do. 23:08, 11 January 2018 (EST)
::For the sprite images, cropping out the background works fine, but that might butt heads with anything that's a 3D model. I'd personally say that it's most important to have the subject be the focus of the image. After that, try to keep all of the images at a near consistent size. 23:35, 11 January 2018 (EST)
RE:FA
Did you follow the parameter instructions? Try copying the parameters and just replacing what you need. I also think the extension .oga is what's used for audio files, so that may also be the problem, as most of what you've uploaded is .ogg. 16:25, 24 December 2017 (EST)
YIDS
Where are you getting the sprites for the icons from? 22:15, 24 December 2017 (EST)
:Why does the image quality look blurry? 22:23, 24 December 2017 (EST)
::I know where you're going with this, considering I wrote that table myself ;P. Anyway, let me reupload one sprite to show you what I'm talking about when I say it looks blurry, and compare them. 22:27, 24 December 2017 (EST)
:::No no no no no, carry on! I like other people using my ideas to expand and improve articles! Anyway, I reuploaded your BAD DUM TSS image, it's cripser quality. 22:29, 24 December 2017 (EST)
::::When obtaining the sprite sheet, I right clicked on "View Image", copied the sprite sheet from there then I cropped it out with GIMP and saved the file, uploaded it. 22:31, 24 December 2017 (EST)
Heh, I just used DeSmuME and a save from GameFAQs. Then I took screenshots (F12) from there and cropped them with FastStone Image Viewer. -- 10:44, 25 December 2017 (EST)
Uploads
Your image uploads look like they are being taken from YouTube videos or something. Please tag such uploads with image-quality. -- 17:09, 27 December 2017 (EST)
Black Backgrounds
If you want to see the images without the black background, refreshing the page will usually work. Not sure why that's how it works, but it does. 00:52, 8 January 2018 (EST)
Re:Thingy above the goal
Um, you sent me an NES map of World 1-1. That proves nothing about what I believe is World 3-2. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:22, 9 January 2018 (EST)
Redirects
World 3-4 (Super Mario Bros. 3) and World 5-9 are mere redirects; just wanted to let you know. 15:55, 9 January 2018 (EST)
Hectic
I don't know, it's just hard for me to see slow-paced-yet-jumpy things as "hectic" after playing through so many mine cart and rocket barrel stages, you know? Maybe "particularly dangerous" would work, as it has more obstacles than the other parts of the level. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 10:16, 11 January 2018 (EST)
Re: Image Quality
That would take work to get that far. I used a save from GameFAQs. -- 13:30, 14 January 2018 (EST)
RE: Super Mario Run
What do you think about the level table on Super Mario Run? 23:09, 14 January 2018 (EST)
Order of navigation templates
I elaborated on my oppose vote on this proposal, which I think you might want to comment on, especially regarding the last point. 16:07, 18 January 2018 (EST)
Guise Gem
Guise Gems are the things you get from green treasure chests that give Wario new forms. The gems that enemies drop that power up Wario's forms are just "gems". Ergo, your page move of Gem to Guise Gem was incorrect. 19:48, 7 February 2018 (EST)
Friend request!
Hi, I originally came here to ask if you know anything about this user's whereabouts, but then again, it'd be rude to greet you with that. Why not be friends? I'm mainly interested in Wii games and the Donkey Kong Country series. I'd be glad if you'd reply! 20:58, October 23, 2021 (EDT)
By the way, if you want, you can sign my page at the friend list at the bottom of my user page. Doing so will earn you a prize ☆ 22:35, October 23, 2021 (EDT)
